It’s amazing obesity really didn’t exist back then. But then again there wasn’t overpriced food every ten steps that you could buy.

One time I went to Maxwell St. With a buddy who was looking for a car stereo and thought he could haggle for a good price. I told him that he better be ready to pay the asking price because things are are already cheap. After about 45 minutes the guy he was talking to and finally caved and sold one for $50 that he was asking $125 because he got tired of the back and forth.

Beautiful, and the background music was perfect. This is my childhood. Totally loved it.

I remember the commercial for this. It had an eyeball searching for the nice and naughty children. Scared me half to death! And when we drove from Burlington, Vermont to my grandparent’s home in Slingerlands, NY, I’d hide under a blanket as we drove past the village.

My friend's dad sold produce on Maxwell St. in the mid- '60s. We would go with him in his large truck and help set up. He paid some "block guy" for the spot. We would go most of the summer. I never remember any fine artwork being sold there at all, but I do remember the musicians and the guys walking around with watches on the inside of their suit coats. It was wild.

Bought six of these. None of them will turn off during the day unless they happen to be in direct sunlight. Cheap Ch**ese crap. Avoid these!
